আবারও SEO এর আরেকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ Meta Tag Settings নিয়ে লিখতে বসলাম। ইতোপূর্বে আমরা ব্লগ পোষ্টের টাইটেলকে SEO উপযোগী করার কৌশল বিষয়ক একটি পোষ্ট করেছিলাম। আপনি ইচ্ছে করলে উক্ত লিংক হতে পোষ্টটি দেখে আসতে পারেন। সেখানে আমরা বিশদভাবে বিষয়টির বেসিক ব্যাপারগুলি নিয়ে ব্যাখ্যা করেছিলাম। আপনি যদি বিষয়টি সম্পর্কে সুস্পষ্ট ধারনা নিতে চান তাহলে অবশ্যই আগের পোষ্টটি পড়ে নিবেন।
আসলে SEO নিয়ে লিখতে বরাবরই আমি খুব বেশী পছন্দ করি কিন্তু পর্যাপ্ত সময় ও সুযোগের অভাবে লিখতে পারি না। তাছাড়া বর্তমানে আমার ফাইনাল পরীক্ষা খুবই নিকটে হওয়াতে ব্লগে সময় দেয়া আরও দুরূহ হয়ে পড়েছে। পরীক্ষার কারনে আগামী ০৩ মাস হয়তো ব্লগে আমাকে নিয়মিত পাবেন না অর্থাৎ লেখা-লেখি থেকে সম্পূর্ণ বিরত থাকার চেষ্টা করবো। তবে ব্লগের যে কোন প্রশ্নের উত্তর যথা সময়ে দেয়ার চেষ্টা করবো, ইনশাআল্লাহ। পরীক্ষা শেষ হলে আবারও ব্লগে নিয়মিত লিখবো।
এখন কাজের কথায় আসি। এটাকে বলা হয় “ব্লগপোষ্ট এর টাইটেল সুওয়াইপ” করা। সার্চ ইঞ্জিন অপটিমাইজেশন করার জন্য ব্লগের টাইটেল সবার আগে সার্চ ইঞ্জিনের উপযোগী করে নেয়া উচিত। অন্যথায় সার্চ ইঞ্জিনগুলি বুঝতেই পারবে না যে, আপনি কি পোষ্ট করেছেন বা কি বুঝাতে চাচ্ছেন। ডিফল্ট ব্লগার টেমপ্লেটের পোষ্টগুলির টাইটেল সব সময় আগে থাকে। সেই জন্য সার্চ ইঞ্জিন পোষ্টের ভাষা সহজে বুঝতে পারে না। যার ফল শ্রুতিতে আপনার পেইজটি সার্চ ইঞ্জিনের প্রথম পাতায় না এসে পেছনে পড়ে যাবে। উল্লেখ্য যে, এখানে ব্লগের সকল ধরনের Meta Tag দেয়া হয়েছে। কাজেই আপনার ব্লগে যদি আগে কোন ধরনের ম্যাটা টাগ যুক্ত করে থাকেন তাহলে সেটি ডিলিট করার পর এটি যুক্ত করবেন। কারণ এ ম্যাটা প্যাকটি যুক্ত করার পর আপনার ব্লগে আর কোন ধরনের ম্যাটা টাগ যুক্ত করার প্রয়োজন হবে না।
